E-TWINNING
The student of the two classes of the Italian and Czech schools will exchange information about a wide range of topics concerning youth culture and traditions of their respective countries. They will start by introducing themselves in a sort of personal blog, then they will choose different topics (family, school, free time, music, Christmas traditions, traditional festivals, food and traditional recipes and so on) and will talk about them using the forum, e-mail messages, peer-to-peer networks. They will also try to develop a quick-find Italian- English - Czech dictionary with the most common words and expressions used in everyday language (say hello, good-bye and so on).

- Aims: Getting to know each other and getting to know a different culture. Finding out about differences and similarities. Building up a European identity. Improving communication skills in English.
- Workshops: Using the TwinSpace to post the students profiles. Using the chat and the forum to discuss different topics. If possible, we'll also exchange different kinds of documents (power point presentations, web quests etc.) and we will organise a videoconference
- Results: Boosting the students' self-esteem. Improving their communication skills. Improving their use of IT. Higher motivation in learning a foreign language. Higher awareness of being European.
